      Residents at Thomasville Nursing Home are proud of two of its volunteers, Katherine Hill and Cari Hamilton.       Mary Trainham was born Nov. 6, 1907. She will be celebrating her 100th birthday with a reception, hosted by her family, at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 3101 County Road 33 in Linden. All relatives and friends are welcome. Presents are optional.

Worthwhile Club meeting held

      On Oct. 10, at 2 p.m., the Worthwhile Club met at Gaston's Grill in Thomasville. The meeting was called to order by the president, Jane Eriksen who thanked the hostesses, Betty Davis, Betty Heaton and Cynthia McDonald for providing refreshments for the meeting.

      Philip and Amy (Andrews) Henderson of Tusca - loosa announce the birth of a daughter, Mary Hayes Henderson, born at 5:42 p.m., September 20, 2007. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 22 inches long.
