Pine Hill Mission receives grant
 | | PHOTO SUBMITTED Senator Hank Sanders recently presented the Pine Hill Mission of Pine Hill with its first grant award certificate from The Black Belt Community Foundation. The award was in recognition of the valuable contribution the Pine Hill Mission has made to the Black Belt. The Pine Hill Mission Director Edith Ruffin and Assistant Director Brenda G. Blount, extended a special thank you to Oak Mountain Ministries, Brook Wood Baptist, to Congressman Artur Davis and his staff in Selma. The next scheduled food bank dates will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Nov. 14 and Dec. 19. For more information call Edith Ruffin at 334-418-0524.
