Youngest member of Sunny South is recognized

Myesha Norwood, a second grade student in Tina Chapman's class at F.S. Ervin Elementary was second runnerup to the queen. On Oct. 11 she was recognized in coronation activities and rode in the Oct. 13 parade.
Myesha was attired in a white miniature bride's dress adorned with seed pearls and carried a white rose. Her float was a garden setting.
She is the daughter of Robert Norwood Jr. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Cora Mae) Norwood Sr. Her greatgrandmother is Mary Lee Norwood.
Myesha, the youngest member of Sunny South United, is very active in community activities. She is affiliated with Carson Chapel Methodist Church in Sunny South.
