Fun, fun and entertainment on tap at Peterman Station Saturday, Nov. 17

The 24th Peterman Station Arts and Crafts Festival will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Peterman (always the Saturday before Thanksgiving).

More than 100 booths filled with a variety of arts and crafts, wooden items, furniture, Christmas decorations, flowers, art, paintings, knives, clothing embroidering on the spot, purses, T-shirts, cookbooks garden ornaments, just to name a few.

Entertainment is planned throughout the day including religious groups, cloggers, country singers and a jazz trio.

Foods throughout the day include: collards, cornbread, Brunswick stew, Polish sausage, hotdogs, hamburgers, funnel cakes, pork skins, barbecue sandwiches, nachos and cheese, taco-in-a-bag, Hoppin' John, and home baked goods.

No admission will be charged.

Pick up a free copy of the 2007 brochure filled with picture, stories, history items and recipes.

Visit the depot decorated for Christmas and feast on hot cocoa, coffee, home-baked goodies and view the vintage photos and memorabilia. A country store will be in the Stanton Store building and a during the day piece of stained glass will be taken home by one lucky visitor.
