Miracle service

Magnolia Assembly of God, County Road 29 (Allen Road), will have a special Friday night miracle service at 7 p.m., Nov. 9, with Wendell and Ann Rowan of Fairhope. For more information call Pastor David Moore at 251-275-3361.

Fish fry

Nicholsville Church of God will host a fish fry Saturday, Nov. 10 with plates available at 5 p.m. for a $5 donation. Takeouts welcome. Singing following featuring Glory Road.

Harvest rally

Williams Temple CME Church in downtown Thomasville will host its annual harvest rally at 2:30 p.m., Nov. 11. Theme will be "Weeds among the Wheat." Rev. Georgia P. Nash will be guest speaker. Rev. Hazel Kirksey is pastor. Sister Alberta Dixon will be mistress of order and Sister Belinda Pruitt is chairperson.

Fall food festival

The U.M.W. of the Thomasville United Methodist Church will again sponsor its annual Fall Food Festival, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 17 in the church fellowship hall. The festival will feature baked goods, candies, pickles and preserves, casseroles and an angels' attic of used jewelry, books and tapes. Everyone is invited to join in for a pre-Thanksgiving taste of autumn's bounty.

Michael Boggs, formerly of the singing group FFH will be leading the morning worship service at 11 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 18, at Fulton First Baptist Church.
