Boys and Girls Club gets visit from TVFD

The Learning Lab Preschool students at The Boys and Girls Club had a month filled with activities in September. The letters of the month were A, D and U. The children enjoyed bringing an item to share that began with one of these letters. They were also taught activities that included the number 1. The themes for the month were "dinosaurs" and "apples." In October the students celebrated Fire Prevention Month with a visit from the Thomasville Volunteer Fire Department and Patches the Fire Dog along with Brandon Stephens and Ben Payne. Currently there are 15 children enrolled. Julie Jackson is the teacher and Cindy Ogle is her assistant. For more information on the preschool program call 334-830-2384.
