Tigers outscore Fayette 58-34

      The Thomasville Tigers piled up 532 yards of offense on their way to a 58 - 34 victory over the Fayette County Tigers in the second round of the AHSAA State Playoffs last Friday, November 16, at D. F. Anderson Field in Thomasville.

Bulldogs pull away from Pirates 52-12

      The Sweet Water Bulldogs overcame a turnover plagued first half and defeated the St. Jude Pirates 52 - 12 this past Friday, November 16 in their playoff game which was played in Montgomery on the campus of Catholic High School.

      The Thomasville Middle School boys basketball team opened their season on Thursday, November 1, with a 47 - 25 win over the Jackson Middle School boys team. In the win the TMS Tigers jumped out to a 15 - 0 lead and then cruised to the final 22 point win.

      The Thomasville High School Lady Tigers Junior Varsity girls, playing an abbreviated three game season, split in their first two games. They opened the season on Thursday, November 1, in Jackson against the Jackson High School Lady Aggie JV and walked away with a 38 - 29 win.
