THS girls JV split first games

The Thomasville High School Lady Tigers Junior Varsity girls, playing an abbreviated three game season, split in their first two games. They opened the season on Thursday, November 1, in Jackson against the Jackson High School Lady Aggie JV and walked away with a 38 - 29 win.

Kyera Rowe led the Lady Tigers in scoring with 15 points followed by Twarner Witherspoon with seven, Desirea Bettis with six, Britney Stallworth and Kierra Westbrook with four apiece and Naporsha Watters with two.

In their second game, which was played this past Thursday, November 15, at home against what actually amounted to the Leroy High School Varsity, the JV Lady Tigers dropped a 31 - 25 decision.

Kyera Rowe had the hot hand again for the Lady Tigers scoring 12 points. Britney Stallworth was next with five points followed by Twarner Witherspoon with four. Desirea Bettis and Brianna Penn rounded out the scoring with two points apiece.

The Lady Tigers JV will be back in action on Thursday, November 29 when they play host to the Jackson High School Lady Aggies JV.
