In their flying machines
 | | PHOTO BY ANNE WILLIAMSON Young bicycle enthusiasts along with their parents oooo'ed and ahhhhhh'ed as the team of exhibition stunt riders held two performances in Thomasville Saturday afternoon. The X Games Super Freestyle Tour came to a local merchant as a reward for it selling a record number of X bikes. The group's last performance on Nov. 18 was at the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The entertainment group's president, Jeff Jones, commented the chilly temperatures in Thomasville were quite a shock after leaving the tropical weather in Miami. Other performances as they crossed the country during 2007 included one at the Super Bowl XLI ESPN Magazine VIP Event. |
