It's time for graduation exams, class exams, ACT

Benjamin Franklin once said, "He that can take rest is greater than he that can take cities." Well, if he was correct, then I must be one tough chick! I don't know about everyone else but I made sure to make the most of our Thanksgiving break! Yet, despite all the dressing and yams, nothing helped me sleep more soundly than knowing that our Tigers are one step closer to state! Round four of the play-offs will be against Central Tuscaloosa, away, and kick-off will be at 7 p.m. this Friday. Let's be the loudest fans out there, Thomasville!

Seniors, remember that graduation exams are coming up, Dec. 3-7. For all of Thomasville High School, be preparing for class exams Dec. 20-21. If you are taking the ACT, Dec. 8 will be here before you know it. So don't let it catch you off guard!

After we return from Christmas break, we have an awesome presentation to look forward to. It's called Rachel's Challenge. On Jan. 10, THS and TMS will have the privilege of attending and experiencing Rachel Scott's legacy.

Rachel was a 17-year-old who was killed in the shooting at Columbine High School. In the presentation, we will learn of her theory about kindness and compassion. It is put on mostly by her family and will be open to the general public that night. Times and other details will be available at a later date.
