'Mockingbird' 2008 scheduled annnounced

The 2008 performance schedule for "To Kill a Mockingbird" in Monroeville will be April 24, 25, 26, 27 and May 1, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17.

Tickets for groups (10 or more) go on sale Jan. 2. Tickets for the general public go on sale March 3.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7 p.m. Sunday performances will be at 5 p.m.

Newly added this season will be a special performance on Saturday, May 24. Mingle with old friends and new and soak up the "Maycomb" atmosphere as those in attendance enjoy dinner and drinks on the beautiful Old Courthouse lawn beginning at 5:30 p.m. They can then sit back, relax and enjoy the two-act "To Kill a Mockingbird" play. Dessert and a meet-and-greet with the entire cast will follow the performance at 9 p.m. This all-inclusive package is $100 per ticket.
