Joyce attends booksigning of Richard Paul Evans in Fairhope

Tonya Joyce, advertising manager of The Thomasville Times in Thomasville, recently attended a booksigning and luncheon at the Fairhope Civic Center where New York Times bestselling author, Richard Paul Evans, was guest speaker.

Karen Wilson, owner of the Page and Pallette book store in Fairhope sponsored Evans' booksigning featuring his newest novel "The Gift."

The luncheon benefiting the Ecumenical Ministries was sponsored by Lulu's at Homeport Marina in Gulf Shores.

Evans is the number one New York Times bestselling author of The Christmas Box. His 11 novels have each appeared on the New York Times bestseller list with more than 14 million copies of his books in print worldwide. Evans' novels have been translated into more than 21 languages and adapted into award-winning television movies. He is the winner of the 2006 Romantic Times award for Best women's novel, and has won the American Mothers' Book Award and three first place Storytelling World Awards for his children's books. Evans is also the recipient of the Washington Times Humanitarian of the Century Award and the Volunteers of America National Empathy Award for his work helping abused children.
