Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Highway 5 three miles north of Thomasville, will host its Christmas Cantata at 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9. A Christmas meal will be served following the cantata. New church location The Joshua Generation Fellowship will be moving to its new location, 26 West Front Street North, the corner of Safford Avenue and West Front Street in downtown Thomasville. The first service in the new building will be on Dec 16, with Sunday services at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Johnny Harvell and The Fellowship family invite all to come and worship. Pastor's helpers fellowship New Greater First Baptist Church, 181 Nicol Ave. S.E., Thomasville, will host its Pastor's Helpers Fellowship at 2:15 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 16.
