Time to sign up for the 2008 THS Beauty Review
The senior football players finished off their high school careers Friday night with 45 wins. Coach Hankins finished the season Friday putting up a record of 64-15 while at THS. Great job guys and thank you to all of our coaches! Now that the football season is over, it's time for another group of Tigers to show their stuff. The Tiger basketball team will kick off its season on Friday, Dec. 7, in McIntosh. They will also play on Saturday, the 8th at Marengo. Good luck basketball players. Show those other teams what these Tigers are all about! The National Honor Society extends thanks everyone in - volved with the blood drive last Thursday. At the end of the day we produced 48 pints of blood. That is six over our goal of 42. Anyone one interested in participating as a beauty or tuxedo boy in the 2008 Beauty Review needs to see Mrs. Pitts to sign up. The cost is $25 and $8 for each ticket you wish to purchase. Also, any student wishing to participate in the talent portion of the Beauty Review should sign up outside of Mrs. Newton's door. Juniors and seniors do not forget Dec. 21 is the last day to pay prom fees at $50. When students return to school in January the cost will be $75. For those of you who would like to save a few dollars, be sure to pay your homeroom teacher by Dec. 21. Alabama High School Graduation Exams have been given this week for the seniors only. Great job seniors, we cannot wait to see what those results will say. Students do not forget that despite the chilling weather, we must stay in uniform. Remember jackets are to be maroon, white or gray ONLY!
