Hammond, Dickerson set Dec. 31 wedding
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Altheris Hammond of Lower Peachtree and the late Charlie Hammond Sr. She is employed with the Wilcox Board of Education as a school health nurse and is weekend supervisor with Capitol Hill Healthcare of Montgomery. The prospective groom is the son of the late Ethel Smitherman and the late Tom and Daisy Dickerson, all of Clanton. He is employed with the LifeTech Center of Thomasville where he serves as the director of Human Resource Development Institute. The ceremony will be held at 3:30 p.m., Dec. 31, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Grove Hill. The couple extends an open invitation.
