      The Thomasville Times is imposing new guidelines for wedding publications effective Jan. 1, 2008. Wedding articles should be submitted within four weeks of the wedding to be published without charge along with a photo. Articles should be 500 words or less.

Girl Scouts donate Samaritan's Purse Shoeboxes
      Two local Girl Scout troops collected and sent 16 gift boxes to children around the world through the Samaritan's Purse Shoebox program. The girls packed their boxes with goodies and decorated each wtih Christmas artwork. Pictured above is Daisy Troop No. 8165.
