Tiger varsity wins thriller 75-74

The Thomasville High School boys' varsity basketball team, trailing for almost the entire game, came from behind to take a 75 - 74 road win over the Choctaw County High School varsity boys this past Tuesday, December 18. With the win Thomasville ran its season record to 4 - 0.

In the game, Tysean Thompson had the hot hand for Thomasville pouring in 20 points, Antron Holt was next with 17 points while Dairl Jackson added 10 points and Shaq Jackson contributed seven. Holt was the leader on the boards snatching down 10 rebounds to record his first double/double of the season while Dairl Jackson grabbed seven rebounds. Dairl Jackson led the way in the assist category dishing off eight during the game.

The Tiger varsity was scheduled to participate in the Jackson High School invitational tournament beginning Wednesday, December 19 and running through Friday, December 21, before taking a Christmas break.
