Quarter million approved to lure wood pellet plant

Auxiliary to honor O'Bryant
      The Southwest Alabama Medical Center Auxiliary voted Monday to frame Jimmy O'Bryant's auxiliary jacket for display in the hospital. O'Bryant died November 18, 2007. "It was an emotional meeting without Jimmy," said member Linda Privett.

Four-wheeler thief arrested

      A Morvin man was arrested Monday for stealing a fourwheeler in the Bashi community. Clarke County sheriff's deputies spent nearly 12 hours searching the area for Justin Maurice Cowan, 22, who is believed to have stolen the Honda four-wheeler from John Harrison about 10 a.m.
