Prescotts' poster wins top honors

Montana Prescott's peace poster sponsored by the Lions Club International won first place in multi-district competition.

The competition area covers all of Southwest Alabama as far north as Carrollton, and as far south as Gulf Shores and a far east as Opp. All clubs in the district invited students to participate on the local level. From the local level, selected posters were sent to the district level.

Prescott and his parents were invited to a banquet in Fairhope where he received his award.

Prescott is a student at Thomasville Middle School and is the son of Marc and Glenda Prescott of Thomasville. Gus Gary - District Governor of 34-N Lions (left) is shown with Montana Prescott holding his award-winning poster and Linda Ziglar - Past District Governor in Fairhope.
