Ms. Senior Alabama seeking contestants

Since its inception in 1985, the Ms. Senior Alabama, Inc. has provided a venue for senior Alabama women to demonstrate successful aging through intelligence, wisdom, talent and poise. Ms. Senior Alabama, as an affiliate of Ms. Senior America, Inc., has made a tremendous impact on Alabama senior women as well as families and friends throughout the United States.

The Alabama-Tombigbee Area Agency on Aging, serving 10 counties in Southwest Alabama including Choctaw, Clarke, Conecuh, Dallas, Marengo, Monore, Perry, Sumter, Washington and Wilcox, invites local organizations to host a preliminary pageant featuring local talented women 60 years of age or older that best exemplifies the "Age of Elegance." Contestants must have good moral character, talent, poise, personality, intelligence, charm and inner beauty.

The local winner will compete in Birmingham in March 2008 for the title of Ms. Senior Alabama. Ms. Senior Alabama will compete in the national competition in Las Vegas, Nevada, along with contestants from all over the United States, to be crowned Ms. Senior America.
