OBITUARIES Margure Bass Margure Bass, 93, of Whatley, died January 19, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Bass was a homemaker and was a member of Indian Ridge Baptist Church. Mary Adrianne Davis Buckalew Mary Adrianne Davis Buckalew, 57, died January 25, 2008, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Mrs. Buckalew was a native and resident of Marengo County. She was a homemaker and had served in the armed forces. Funeral mass was held at 10 a.m., Jan. 30, at Saint Leo's Catholic Church in Demopolis with Father Larry Shinnick officiating. Mrs. Buckalew is survived by two sons, Gabriel Buckalew of Troy and Zachary (Katherine) Buckalew of Mobile; and two grandchildren, Elijah Blue Buckalew and Ethan Bruce Buckalew. David Lee Dearing David Lee Dearing, 76, of the Walker Springs community, died January 27, 2008 at Eight Mile Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Dearing was a native and resident of Walker Springs. He was a millwright at Boise Cascade for 28 years and was served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. The funeral was held at 1 p.m., Jan. 29, at Gilead Baptist Church in Walker Springs with Bro. William Allison officiating. Burial was in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Dearing is survived by one daughter, Nedrin Dearing of Chickasaw; and one sister, Ruby Dell Heydenburk of Lillian. Mary Helen Denson Mary Helen Denson, 42, of Thomasville, died January 27, 2008 at Monroe County Hospital in Monroeville. Ms. Denson was a native and resident of Thomasville and had worked as a caregiver. The funeral was held at 1 p.m., Jan. 30, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Thomasville with Christopher Giles officiating. Burial was at Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville. Ms. Denson is survived by one son, Barry Denson of Mississippi; one daughter, Jennifer Fant of Thomasville; her mother, Helen Eloise White Denson of Thomasville; three brothers, Tommy Denson of Mobile and Charles Denson and Jerry Denson, both of Thomasville; one sister, Doris Dement of Thomasville; seven grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. Anna Teresa Huckabee Anna Teresa Huckabee, 48, of Coffeeville, died Sunday, January 27, 2008, at her residence. Mrs. Huckabee was a native of Jackson and a resident of Coffeeville. She was employed with Dumas Manufacturing Co. and was a member of Grace Chapel Church in Coffeeville. The funeral was held at 3 p.m., Monday, Jan. 28, at Grace Chapel Church with the Rev. Sonny Hoven officiating. Burial was in Moseley Springs Cemetery in Coffeeville. Mrs. Huckabee is survived by her husband, Donnie Huckabee of Coffeeville; two daughters, Maria Lewis of Tampa, Fla. and Eva Roberts of Thomasville; one son, Michael Henson of Coffeeville; one stepson, Joshua Kaleb Huckabee of Plantersville; her mother, Eva Mae Woodham of Coffeeville; and one granddaughter, Brianna Lewis of Tampa. Jennifer Inez Jones Jennifer Inez Jones, 36, of Auburn, died January 25, 2008, at an Auburn healthcare facility. Mrs. Jones was born Nov. 4, 1971. She was a native of Jackson and a former resident of Pine Hill. Mrs. Jones was a retired director of Scales Ave. Child Development Center in Columbia, S.C. and was a member of Shandon Baptist Church in Columbia, S.C. The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 28, at Union Baptist Church in Grove Hill. Burial was in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Kevin Jones of Auburn; one daughter, Kylie Jones of Auburn; her mother, Geraldine Dumas of Grove Hill; two brothers, Teddy Paul of Grove Hill and Will Sheffield of Stephensville, Texas; and two sisters, Christine Day of Akron and Lori Garris of Leroy.
