Gas settlement
Thomasville Mayor Sheldon Day (right) receives a check Tuesday for $127,000 from Tommy Horsley, general manager with the Clarke Mobile Counties Gas District. The money came as the city's portion from winning a lawsuit with Union Gas; Prior Energy Corporation; and ICC Industries.
