Primary is Feb. 5 Presidentail Primary voting in Alabama has moved to a new date this year. Primary voting will take place Tuesday, Feb. 5. All normal polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters will have to declare a party preference, either Democrat or Republican, before they can vote, and will only be allowed to vote in that party's primary. Voters must match delegates to the correct candidates name.
