Gov. Riley coming

Governor Bob Riley will be vising Jackson on Feb. 11. The visit will consist of two stops.

The first stop will be at 9 a.m. at Jackson High School. There, he will be the guest speaker at a program to discuss opportunities that ThyssenKrupp is expected to bring to the area. State Rep. Marc Keahey will host the meeting. The public is invited to attend.

The second stop will be at Jackson city hall to announce a major industrial project in the city. It is expected to be the announcement of a wood-pellet plant.
