      Before we came to Ghana we were told that if we died on the mission field, it would most likely be as the result of an auto accident. After our initial road trip of 400 miles, which took about 13 and a-half hours, I began to understand the reasoning behind that statement.

      Marriage and singles banquet Mt. Zion #2 Baptist Church in Grove Hill will host a marriage and singles banquet at 7 p.m., Feb. 16 at Preschool Unlimited (the old skating rink in Jackson) Guest speaker will be Pastor Effelle Williams of Selma. Tickets are $25 for couples and $15 for singles.
