U of WA announces fall semester grads

The University of West Alabama honored nearly 600 graduates during fall commencement exercises Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, with President Richard D. Holland conferring undergraduate and master's degrees from the Colleges of Business, Education, Liberal Arts, and Natural Sciences and Mathematics; the Division of Nursing; and the School of Graduate Studies.

The following local students received degrees:

THOMASVILLE: Adam Andrews, Master of Education; Dwight Figgers, Master of Education; Allison Kennedy, Bachelor of Business Administration; Kelli Scruggs, Master of Arts in Teaching; Jami Wilson, Master of Education

PINE HILL: Lawanda White, Bachelor of Science

GROVE HILL: James Tucker, Master of Science in Continuing Education

THOMASTON: Cheri Briggins, Master of Education
