      The Thomasville High School Varsity basketball team wound up with a split in the Clarke County Tournament played at Clarke County High School in Grove Hill last week. With the split the Tigers finished second in the tournament.

      Mimi Hill of Thomasville (above) shot her first buck while she and her 10-yearold daughter Katherine were hunting Saturday, Jan. 26. The deer was an 8-point and weighed 147 pounds.
