TES holds book fair

Thomasville Elementary School held its annual book fair Jan. 28 through Feb. 1.

Family night for the week was held Tuesday, Jan. 29 with a great turn out and support from parents.

Another special event was Grandparents' Day, held Thursday, Jan. 31. Grandparents got a chance to come shop with their grandchildren.

At Family Night and Grandparents' Day, students were able to put their names in a drawing for free books.

At the winter book fair, area businesses are invited to partner with the school to become a book fair sponsor.

Several business making donations included: Pope's Real Estate, Weyerhaeuser, Clarke County Pole and Piling and Louisiana-Pacific Corp. These donations helped children win free books, along with purchasing books for the library.
