Delmar back open
After four days closed, The Delmar restaurant is back open. Signs posted on the front doors of the restaurant simply stated it would be closing at 2 p.m. Last Saturday. The restaurant reopened Wednesday evening Feb. 6. Shortly after the doors closed, rumors flew around Thomasville as to the possible reasons for closing. Owner Charlie Flora said the closure was simply a necessary step in buying out her business partner and to "take care of paperwork." The Delmar has been a fixture of Thomasville's dining scene since the late 1960s.
