Gov. Riley in Jackson
Gov. Bob Riley speaks at the Jackson City Hall Monday. Riley announced a new $118 million wood pellet plant to be constructed in Jackson. The Jackson facility will employ about 100 people paying an average of $50,000 per job. Riley called the mill "one of the newest technologies known in the world today. Riley and state officials met with area county and municipality leaders to talk about their needs and concerns prior to the announcement.
