Saturday is the final day for baseball registration

Final day for baseball, softball, & t-ball registration is Saturday February 16, 2008

The final day for baseball, softball, & t-ball registration will is Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Recreation Building located at 2285 Bashi Road (Formally the Lower Dixie Timber building), from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. These programs are offered for both boys and girls. There is a new age eligibility cut off date for both boys and girls, mandated by Dixie Inc., anyone registering after this date or during tryouts will have to pay an additional late fee of $10.00.

Please mark your calendar for this day so your child will not be left out.

Directions to the office is turn left off of Highway 43 left at the new Walgreens building, come to the three way stop, turn left, come past the new LifeTech building to county road 48 turn right and the Recreation building will be on the left. It is the road that takes you to Campbell's Landing.

For baseball one must be at least 7 yrs. of age and no older than 14 yrs. of age on or before April 30, 2008, to be eligible to participate.

For softball one must be at least 7 yrs. of age and no older than 15 yrs. of age on or before April 30, 2008, to be eligible to participate.

For t-ball one must be at least 3 yrs. of age and no older than 6 yrs. of age on or before April 30, 2008 to be eligible to participate.

If you are participating in School Ball you must still register for the City League Program at registration.

You must bring the following with you to registration. The $35.00 registration fee, copy of your birth certificate or proof of age. Parent or guardian must be present to sign parental consent form. If you have any questions, please call the Recreation Department at 334-636-9053 ext. 10 or 636-1629 ext. 10, if you need to register during this week you can on Thursday between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:00pm and Friday between the hour of 9:00 am through 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 pm through 5:00 pm, because school will be dismissing at 1:00 pm on Friday February 15, 2008. If you would like to come at those times please come to the Recreation Building at 2285 Bashi Road (Formally the Lower Dixie Timber building) Please make sure and mark your calendar for these dates, so your child will not be left out.
