Things are winding down

Hello Thomasville and how 'bout them Tigers!!! Our Boys varsity basketball team went to war with Andalusia Friday night and came back victorious! This puts them through to Regional competition in Troy at 7:00 this Thursday night. Good luck guys!
Things are winding down around THS now that the Beauty Review has passed. Congratulations to our 2007- 2008 Top Beauty, Miss Kayla King, and to our Most Handsome, Mr. Roya Campbell. Top five beauties are as follows: 4th- Amber Kennedy, 3rd- Lindsey Overstreet, 2nd- Jennifer Henson, 1st- Evey Sanders. Top five handsome men consist of: 4th- Katrell Watters, 3rd- Jarrell Watters, 2nd- John Sims, 1st- Trey Pritchet. And Miss Congeniality was Katie Simon. Our MC's were Camelia Forte and Caleb Clardy who I must say, did a spectacular job! The talent portion showed up and showed out as well. Great job to Mrs. Newton and to everyone involved who helped make the production possible. We cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next year.
The Lady Tigers will host a softball tournament this Saturday. Come out and support our girls. There is also an upcoming blood drive that will take place March 12. More details will be given at a later date.
Seniors and juniors, prom is as close as ever, and if you have yet to turn in your dues, don't delay! February 29th is the last day they will be $75. They will then be raised to $100.
Mrs. Williams now has applications for various scholarships. Any senior in need should see her and fill one out.
