Herb gardening for the south

The Alabama Cooperative extension system will be offering a presentation on growing and harvesting herbs. A popular trend in home gardening is the growing and use of herbs.

Tom Daugherty of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System will be providing information and answering questions to help home gardeners enjoy this pursuit. Discussion will include growing and using herbs in the home landscape and harvesting. The presentation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, March 11 at Grove Hill United Methodist Church fellowship hall on old Highway 43 in Grove Hill. Registration will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Coffee and refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Country Goose.
