Kindergarten registration set Friday, April 11

Registration for children who plan to enter kindergarten at Thomasville Elementary School for the 2008 - 2009 school year will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday, April 11. Registration will be held in the kingergarten building. Children entering first grade who are not currently enrolled at Thomasville Elementary School kindergarten will also register on this date.

Kindergarten students who are currently attending Thomasville Elementary will not attend school April 11.

Children who will be 5-years old on or before Sept. 1, 2008 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten. Parents are asked to bring a certified copy of the child's birth certificate, an immunization certificate and the child's social secureity card. Two proofs of residency will be required for students entering the first grade. Parents should bring this at the time of registration.
