Wrecks spawn wrecks
With traffic backed up on Hwy. 43 in Thomasville from one wreck Wednesday morning, another one took place behind it. Witnesses on the scene said the white log truck above, driven by Darren Powell skidded to avoid the stopped traffic and struck the white Nissan (background) driven by Carolyn Clark. A PIggly Wiggly delivery truck was also involved in the accident. No further information was available at press time.
