Lisa Sims named Chief Operations Officer at hosptial

Lisa Sims has been named Chief Operating Officer for Southwest Alabama Medical Center. Sims will be handling many of the day to day operations of the hospital.

"I have served as the Chief Nursing Officer for six and a half years," Sims said. "I am excited about this new position and I will strive to continue improving the quality of our hospital and the services we offer."

"I am proud of our facility, doctors and staff. It is my commitment to work together as a team to offer our community the best healthcare possible."

"As a member of the community, I understand the importance of quality healthcare in rural areas. My husband, Kevin and our two sons, Tristan, 10, and Brodie, 4, enjoy living in Thomasville. We have family and friends here. I am proud to be able to play a part in the growth of our city."
