New club spreads acts of kindness

Thomasville High School's newest club - Friends of Rachel
Thomasville High School now has a new club: "Friends of Rachel". The club's first act of kindness will be helping people with groceries at Wal- Mart. Members are asked to give any suggestions or ideas of any considerate acts that the club can achieve for the community. Any student who would like to be part of "Friends of Rachael" is welcomed to join. The fee is only $2. Students will get a bright, yellow "Friends of Rachel" T-shirt.

KaTia Cowan, one of the three executive officers, said, "It's a very good-hearted program that can affect the school and the community. If we start a chain reaction of kindness, we can touch someone's heart." For more information about Rachel Scott visit www.rachelschallenge.com.
