Dixons Mills man killed in wreck

A fatal wreck claimed the life of Joseph Brame, 48, of Dixons Mills Saturday.

According to Alabama State Trooper reports, Brame, Sharon Brame and Billy Westbrook were traveling west on County Road 30 in a 1987 Dodge pickup when the accident occurred.

The truck was traveling west about four miles west of Magnolia when it left the road, was brought back on the road and crossed over to the other side, striking an embankment, according to the report.

Sharon Brame was injured in the accident that took place shortly after 7 p.m. The accident is under investigation.

Joseph Brame was a carpenter and a member of Wayne Baptist Church in Dixons Mills.
