Chuck Anderson promoted at FUSB

Chuck Anderson of Thomasville has been recently named Thomasville's city president for First United Security Bank. Anderson was formerly vice president and branch manager for Thomasville's Hwy. 43 South office, and has been employed with the bank since he began his career 16 years ago.

"We are very pleased to name Chuck our new City President for Thomasville. His excellent banking background and personal connections with Thomasville certainly make him well qualified for this position," President/CEO Terry Phillips said. Anderson's new responsibilities will include oversight of branches and lending/ business development for Thomasville and surrounding areas. He will be responsible for loans and deposits, while also serving on the officer's loan committee. His primary duties will also include recruiting/ training loan officers and branch managers.

"I am thankful for this new opportunity, and have enjoyed working for First United Security Bank for as long as I have," Anderson said. "I look forward to continued service to this community and this great organization in the years to come."

Anderson is a native of Thomasville and holds degrees from Thomasville High School, Mobile College and Graduate School of Banking of Louisiana State University.

His wife of nearly 15 years is Marlo Anderson. They have one daughter, Allie, age 7.
