Let Jesus be your master mechanic
Mustafa is known as "Moose" though they don't spell it that way. The Lord has blessed Moose and his work in Yendi, and the results are new churches and new converts. I have to appreciate that. Anyway the engine in the SUV was "spoiled." That meant it was broken, worthless. The engine had numerous defects, the most serious being a bad block, with cracks in several of the cylinder walls. Moose came by with a gang of young men who he explained were mechanics, possibly of the "shade tree" variety. He asked if they could work there at our carport. The oldest of them could not have been over 20 or so. They wore cut off britches, T-shirts and flip-flops. Their wrenches and mechanics tools were stuffed in their pockets. I thought to myself, "yeah, right, that piece of junk will never run again," but I agreed to let them work there, and they swarmed all under the hood of that big truck. For two days they worked. They completely disassembled the engine. There were pistons, and valves, valve springs and lifters, rings, bearings, rods, rod caps and cylinder sleeves all over our carport. Many of the parts they replaced. On the third day they put it all back together, and when they were through, Moose drove off in it. When Jesus got His hands on me I was spoiled, worthless, no good. II Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new."
Let Jesus tear you down, put you back together and drive you where He wants to. If He could do it for me, He can do it for you, ask around, and I'll see you in church.
