New Greater First Baptist Church, 181 Nicol Ave. SE, will host a men and women's day celebration in Thomasville, Sunday, April 6, at 2:30 p.m. Rev. E.J. Marshall will be guest speaker, pastor of Greater Saint Paul Baptist Church in Selma. Pastor Carlton L. Hogue, pastor New Greater First Baptist, invites everyone. Gospel singing Pine Hill Baptist Church in Pine Hill will be hosting The Providentials, a southern gospel quartet from Ruth, Miss., at 6 p.m., Sunday, April 6. A food fellowship will be held immediately following the concert. Everyone is invited. Gospel concert The Glory Road Quartet will be singing at Creels Chapel United Methodist Church at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 12. Everyone is invited. Appreciation celebration Pastor's Appreciation program honoring Bishop Eddie C. and First Lady, Cedella Pugh will be held at the Living Church of God, Saturday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. And will continue Sunday, April 13 at 4:00 p.m. at the Clarke County High School auditorium in Grove Hill. The church is located on Tallahatta Springs Road in Thomasville.
Relay for Life benefit gospel singing The Rayford McKinley family Relay for Life team is sponsoring a gospel singing, Saturday, April 19 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Thomasville National Guard Armory. The Good News quartet and DeMaskus will be performing, as well as other local talent. Donations will be taken at the door. Drinks and finger foods will be served inside. Everyone is invited to come praise and worship in song. Voices of Faith anniversary Rockbabylon MB Church in Dixons Mills will host the fourth anniversary of the Voices of Faith Saturday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m., and at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 20. Special guest groups on Saturday will be The Silvertones of Silas and The Howell Brothers of Birmingham. Sunday's guests will be Magnificent Clouds of Joy of Lauderdale, Miss. and New Beginning of Selma. Church pastor Norris J. Pauley invites everyone. Also, all churches, groups, choirs and soloists are invited. Angels Touching Children's Lives
Angels Touching Children's Lives (ATCL), a Christian organization, has been established to brighten and enhance the lives of children with special needs.
