Mabowitz hired by FUSB

His extensive background and experience in credit administration, underwriting, and loan operations will be a tremendous asset for our organization." President/CEO Terry Phillips said. According to Phillips, Mabowitz's responsibilities will include oversight of the bank's credit administration, loan review and loan processing areas, among other internal operations. "I am excited about joining the management team of First United Security Bank. This opportunity gives me a chance to utilize my skills in credit administration," Mabowitz said. "My family and I are excited about returning to southwest Alabama and establishing our home here."
He is married to wife, Phyllis, of 16 years. They have one son, Flynn, age 10, and plan to make their home in Thomasville as soon as possible.
