Lions Club receives awards

The Thomasville Lions Club is the recipient of a Topaz Award from Lions Club International. This award is given to clubs that contribute $100 or more per member to Campaign Sight First II. This campaign is an international commitment to eradicate blindness. Pictured to right: President Glenda Prescott accepts award from Howard Jackson, Zone Chairperson of District 34N.
The Alabama Lions Sight Conservaton Association, Inc. awarded the Olympian Award to the Thomasville Lions Club. To receive this award, clubs had to contribute $100 or more per member. Thomasville donated more than $4,500 during the 2006- 2007 fiscal year. Pictured to left: President Glenda Prescott presents Past President Lou Wallace with the award. Wallace served as president for the 2006-2007 year.
