Thomasville High School FFA Chapter celebrated National FFA Organization Week February 18-22. The week started with a visit from Alabama State Representative Marc Keahey and Thomasville Mayor Sheldon Day. Rep. Keahey discussed interviewing technique, local job opportunities, business and Industry and the value of a good education. Mayor Day presented a $1000 check to the chapter for building barricades for the city of Thomasville, and talked about future business and Industry moving to the Thomasville area. The agriscience advisory board committee conducted mock interviews for agriscience students from 8 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday. Students were grateful for the opportunities the mock interviews provided and the valuable comments giving by the interviewers. The entire Agriscience Technology Department enjoyed meeting and greeting the many visitors during National FFA Organization week.
