Last Monday at about 7:30 a.m. I was flying to Washington, D.C. That night, while dining at the Saudi Arabian Embassy, we had two guest speakers come and speak to us about the presidential election. We had to take notes because we had to write about them. Throughout the week we had to fill in a booklet they gave us at registration on Monday. On Tuesday we went to Arlington Cemetery to watch the changing of the guard. Then we went to the statue were the soldiers were raising the flag. On Wednesday we went to Jamestown and Williamsburg. In Jamestown we learned about the history of the place, and in Williamsburg we took a tour and learned about what the gunmakers did during the war. On Thursday we went to the Native American Museum and the Holocaust Museum. At the Native America Museum we learned about their life. At the Holocaust Museum we watched a movie about the hard times during the Holocaust. On Friday we went to Gettysburg and toured the battlefield, and we learned how many places they fought at. On Saturday we went to the Spy Museum, Air and Space Museum, and on a dance cruise that night. At the Spy Museum we got to see spy gadgets, and at the Air and Space Museum we saw all the first planes to fly. That night we went on a dance cruise and ate for the last night in Washington, D.C.
