Patience paid off
Peter Vaughn of Thomasville killed this 17-1/2 pound turkey on Thursday, April 10. The turkey had an 11-1/4 inch beard and 1-1/16 inch spurs. Vaughn, who landed the gobbler "in turkey country," said he called him up and worked with him for 2 or 3 hours before he finally came in.
