Newsom crowned top beauty

Clarke Prep Junior High School Beauty Pageant's top four contesants are, from left: Taylor Bradford, Kiley Dunagan, JoAnna Newsom and Taylor Brooks.

JoAnna Newsom, daughter of Angie Newsom of Thomasville was crowned the top beauty at the 2008 Clarke Prep Junior High Beauty Pageant in Grove Hill.

JoAnna is the granddaughter of Tommie Jo and Darlene Williamson of Sunny South and Jerry and Merolyn Newsom of Thomasville.

First runner up was Kiley Dunagan.

Second runner up and earning the Miss Congeneality award was Taylor Brooks.

Taking home the third runner up slot was Taylor Bradford.
