Shewmake, McLean to wed

Arthur McLean and Bridgett Shewmake
Mr. and Mrs. James Warren Shewmake of Fulton are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Bridgett Loree, to Arthur Botter McLean III, son of Mrs. Joann Brewer McLean and the late Mr. Arthur Botter McLean Jr. of Mobile.

The bride to be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson Gray Shewmake of Jackson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Danny Lee James of Fulton.

Grandparents of the prospective groom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Botter McLean Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Brewer, all of Mobile.

Miss Shewmake is a graduate of Meridian High School and received her bachelor of music degree from the University of Alabama. She is a board certified music therapist and is currently employed by Grove Hill United Methodist Church.

Mr. McLean is a graduate of B.C. Rain High School and received his bachelor of arts degree in communication and print journalism with a minor in political science from the University of South Alabama. He is currently the editor and general manager of The Thomasville Times and owner of McLean Photography.

The wedding reception is planned for May 31 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at the Champion House in Thomasville. All family and friends are invited to attend, as no invitations will be sent.
