Get senior profile sheets done
School News Jennifer Henson
"Tick, tock, tick, tock…" The time is running down. Thomasville High School is jam-packed with deadlines, recognitions, and all of those last minute duties.

Seniors, though you have less than one month until graduation, school is not out yet. There are many things to be done between now and May 23. First of all, your Thomasville Times senior profile sheet must be completed and returned to school by Wednesday, May 14. This is very important, as it is an honor and a privilege that the newspaper bestows on our graduating class.

Also, seniors, you must pay your senior color fee by May 13. The cost is only $15 and if it is not paid your picture will not be included in the senior color section of the yearbook. Please make every effort to attend to this deadline.

One of the most fun parts of a graduating class are the annual "Who's Who" awards, which are voted on by the senior class. This year's winners are as follows:

- Biggest Fan - John Thornton and Hannah Bonner

- Most Athletic - Kenny Sanders and Nicole Washington

- Most Likely to Succeed - Caleb Clardy and Jennifer Henson

- Most Changed - Jamie Rush, Abbey Rish and Mary Moss

- Most Likely to be Tardy - Chris Headley and Talisha Jackson

- Most Likely to be Tied to Thomasville - Steven Etheredge and Cassie Smith

- Most Sociable - John Sims and Camelia Forte

- Most Likely to be a Bachelor/Bachelorette - Daril Jackson and Camelia Forte

And lastly to seniors, please remember to be on top of all senior fees. Those who do not pay your fees will have serious consequences. We all want there to be 85 seniors walking across D.F. Anderson Field on May 23!

The annual awards day will be held on May 15 during second block. The time for this recognition ceremony is approximately 9:45 a.m. The senior awards night will also be held on the May 15, however it will not take place until 6:30 p.m.

To any student who had their spring pictures taken, the orders are due May 1! Please have them turned into the office by this time, so your parents can see their children's shining little faces via photo by the end of school.

Any student wishing to be in the wind or percussion sections of the THS Tiger Marching Band next year should grab an audition packet from Mr. Allen in order to be included in auditions next week. You must audition to be included!

Congratulations to FBLA member Carli Ludlow! Carli won first place in FBLA Principles and Procedures at the FBLA State convention. She will now continue on to the national competition in Atlanta, Ga., in June.

As always, THS is no stranger to busyness. We are working hard to finish this school year with a bang.
