VFDs fill the boot for MDA The Pine Hill and Lower Peachtree Volunteer Fire Depart - ments will be joining forces again as they participate in the Muscu - lar Dystrophy Associa tion's Fillthe Boot Campaign. The MDS's Fill-the-Boot Campaign raises money to help local families and children with neuro muscular disease. This money will assist in the purchase of much needed equipment, clinic visits and trips to summer camp for many children with muscular dystrophy.
The event will kick off at 7:30 a.m., May 24. Firefighters will be stationed around the town of Pine Hill and will be accepting donations. Dona tions can also be given to any of the Pine Hill or Lower Peachtree Volunteer Fire Department's firefighters be - tween May 24 and Aug. 1.
